During a road trip across the United States, Zoe Lemon wrote a collection of songs on her violin. While they were only rough demos, they helped her cope with, grow, and heal during difficult and life-changing times. A year later, when she moved back to Philadelphia, she and her friends went into the studio to rework and master her road trip demos. The recordings that resulted changed her life. Today, Zoe has over 500 monthly listeners, and her songs have been heard across the Americas on Spotify alone.
Earlier this year, singer-songwriter Zoe released her newest EP, Tailspin. The EP features two of her top 5 most-streamed songs on Spotify, "Bad Haircut" and "Split Ends". Zoe's vocals are soothing and healing, and her blend of violin and vocals is particularly impressive. The other instruments on the EP are also well-played, and the overall sound is breathtaking. The songs on Tailspin transport the listener to a melancholy world that is reminiscent of the power of Saraband music.
Zoe’s latest song, "Split Ends", is a beautiful addition to her collection. The song's vocal and string arrangement add to its nostalgic feel, and I appreciate the hard work that Zoe must have put into it. I will definitely be adding it to my Acoustic Fall playlists. I think it is a beautiful song that will resonate well with her audience. The song's lyrics evoke a sense of road-tripping, and I can imagine listening to it while driving through the countryside. In fact, the entire EP has a road-trip vibe that I could listen to all day long. I am looking forward to hearing more from Zoe in the future.
