This is the first time we’re having a proper trap artist here at UFA - a milestone we reckon. Nasti is one of those acts that cuts right to the chase. Grips your emotional throat and doesn’t let go until all that’s needed has been said.
‘Roses’, a song about growth, achievement and reminiscence - all terms that bedrock Nasti into what he’s all about. A tinge of xxxtentacion’s vocal timbre can be heard throughout, which is both haunting and soothing. Perhaps his cadence is less melodic, but this is superseded by knowing what flow fits best with the rest of the instrumental. Overall, I think what Nasti is doing is great innovation from when Shiloh Dynasty was at their peak. The vocal sample breeds somberness and fits the overall musical idea. Nothing better when artists premeditate their art from top to bottom, and that’s the virtue that makes Nasti one to look out for!
