Jay Roecker - “Mi Amor (I Had a Dream)” ~ The 80's music scene is very much alive and kicking!

Jay Roecker is a multi-genre musician from Austin, Texas. He has been creating and recording music since 2012, initially as an 80s cover band called Member’s Only. He quickly transitioned to writing and performing his own original music, which a variety of artists has inspired. Jay has performed in many venues, including Deep Ellum in Dallas and SXSW in Austin. His album Electronic Symphonic was a commercial success, reaching the top 10 on several charts. In February 2013, Jay released his first track through his newest single, "Bucket Full of Crazy," and two others followed in June and July.

On Friday, July 21, 2023, Jay released his Spanish and English single and video for "Mi Amor - I Had a Dream" on all streaming platforms. The video and single take listeners on a futuristic dreamscape journey. The song has already garnered attention from the music industry, with multiple press blogs and magazines covering it. On Spotify, the bilingual song has reached over 75,000 streams and is the number one most popular song. The song was also released on Jay's 12-track album, Electronic Symphonic, which also features "A New Day for You," another of his top five most popular songs.

I am a great admirer of the symphonic sound of his music, which transports me back to the 1980s. His vocals are well-suited to the intensity of his songs, and the energy behind each song is a pinnacle of his work. I admire the strong energy of Mi Amor, a well-crafted bilingual track that draws comparisons to Duran Duran. I also enjoyed the rest of his top 5 most streamed songs and can see why his audience is so devoted to him.
